I'm a wife, mum of three, and the heart behind Homestead Collective Photography.
Somewhere between raising babies, renovating our old farmhouse, and watching the seasons change on our family farm, I realised just how quickly life moves. The days can feel long, but the years somehow pass in the blink of an eye.
Photography became my way of holding onto the moments I never wanted to forget.
Not the perfectly posed ones, but the real ones. The way your child reaches for your hand without thinking. The belly laughs. The muddy boots. The wind in your hair. The quiet moments that often seem ordinary at the time but become the memories we treasure most.
As a mum myself, I know what it's like to be the one always behind the camera. To have thousands of photos of your children, but very few of yourself with them. I know how much those images will mean one day, not just to you, but to them.
That's why my sessions are relaxed, natural, and centred around connection rather than perfection. I want you to walk away with photographs that feel like your family genuine, joyful, messy, beautiful and completely yours.
Because long after little feet have grown, favourite toys have disappeared, and life has moved into its next chapter, these photographs become part of your family's story.
And it would be an honour to help tell it.
My approach
When you step in front of my lens, my hope is that you feel completely at ease.
I know that being photographed can feel a little daunting, especially if you're worried about the kids sitting still, your partner not loving photos, or simply not knowing what to do. That's why my sessions are designed to be relaxed, unhurried, and centred around connection rather than perfection.
You won't find stiff poses or forced smiles here.
Instead, I'll gently guide you while giving your family, business, or special moment the space to unfold naturally. Some of the most meaningful photographs come from the in-between moments the laughter you didn't plan, the cuddles that happen without prompting, the glance that says more than words ever could.
I pay attention to the little things because they're often the moments that matter most. The tiny hand wrapped around yours. The windswept hair. The muddy boots after a walk through the paddock. The details that make your story uniquely yours.
My goal is to create images that feel honest, emotive, and timeless photographs that don't just show what life looked like, but remind you exactly how it felt.
